What you need to know!
Here the most frequently asked questions are answered by a fascia expert:
How long and how often should I work with the Armwunder?
It depends, of course, on what you want to achieve with the Armwunder. It is advisable to use the Armwunder first thing in the morning for a few minutes so that any tension that may have developed during the night can be worked on. You can also use it during the day if you notice that your muscles are a bit sore, and in the evening while you are comfortably on the sofa. Don't overdo the massage at the beginning so that you don't get sore muscles the next day. The massage with the Armwunder can be more intense than you have ever experienced before. So work your way up to the length and pressure of the massage from day to day. If you reach points during the massage where you notice that it is a bit more uncomfortable, just stay on these points for 20-30 seconds and see if it doesn't actually do you any good if you work on your arm muscles in this way.
How strong should the massage pressure be set?
Only you can decide for yourself. If you want a pleasant massage, you can adjust the massage pressure accordingly. However, if you want to go a little deeper and focus on trigger points, you can adjust the massage pressure accordingly.
What advantage does the Armwunder have compared to normal fascia rolls and balls?
If you want to work on your muscles using conventional methods, you have to press yourself onto the massage elements with your body weight or muscle strength. It is not uncommon for you to have to "bend" yourself accordingly in order to even reach the muscles you are looking for. With the Armwunder, this is child's play. All you have to do is sit down properly (chair or sofa), install your desired massage elements and the appropriate massage pressure and enjoy the massage, which is carried out from two sides (above and below) at the same time. This is a unique massage experience because you can concentrate fully on your body and the massage.
Is the Armwunder a medical device and is it subsidized by health insurance?
The Armwunder is not a medical product and is not subsidized by health insurance companies. For this reason, we are not allowed to advertise the cure or relief of illnesses such as tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, mouse arm, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. The Armwunder is an extremely good massage and wellness product.
What difference do the different massage inserts make?
Basically, wooden elements are naturally firmer than plastic elements. People with very slim arms usually enjoy massages with plastic elements such as fascia rollers or peanut balls more, as the massage elements do not press as hard on the arm bones. People with more tissue and muscles enjoy wooden balls more, as they penetrate deeper into the tissue and muscles and can also reach the deeper muscles. The single ball is ideal for trigger point massage, and you are your own "torture slave" and decide how strong the massage should be.
Does the Armwunder only work on the forearm or also elsewhere?
You can use the Armwunder on both the forearm muscles and the upper arm (biceps and triceps). I know that slim people also use the Armwunder on their legs, especially the calf muscles. However, it is not designed for this and is a bit more complicated to use.
Which Armwunder is right for me?
On the one hand, it is of course also a question of price and the desperation you are in when looking for a solution. For people with more tissue and normal muscles, the Armwunder Pro is often the right choice, as it also includes the single ball for trigger point massage. Then you also have to decide whether you want the version with a wooden frame or the aluminum version. The aluminum version is easier to clean if it goes through several hands. The wooden frame version is a real treat for the hands and feels really very comfortable.
Can I test the Armwunder beforehand?
The best way to test the Armwunder is to order it and, if necessary, make use of your legal right of withdrawal within 14 days if you don't like the Armwunder. You will then receive an immediate refund of your purchase price. I have even extended the right of return to 30 days. The only possible risk you have is the return shipping costs, but believe me, once you have put your arm in the Armwunder, you usually don't want to give it up.
